Siguiendo con las Noticias de MLB, tenemos unas muy buenas y otras no tan agradables, tal es el caso del Jardinero de los Marineros de Seattle que fuè apuñalado en su casa, en Holanda, el joven de 24 años, Greg Halman, del cual se dice su hermano de 22 años fuè arrestado, aunque no se ha proporcionado mas informaciòn al respecto.
El que corriò con muy buena suerte fuè Wilson Ramos, quien debuta esta semana con su equipo en Venezuela, recordemos que estuvo secuestrado, y fuè rescatado, asì como los secuestradores, detenidos.
Pasando a informaciòn mas agradable, tenemos a Justin Verlander recien nombrado Cy Young, fuè designado como MVP de la Liga Americana, logrando asì ser el primer abridor en muchos años en lograrlo. El último pitcher abridor en salir como el más valioso fue Roger Clemens de Boston en 1986. El último lanzador que habÃa ganado el premio fue el relevista Dennis Eckerlsley de Oakland en 1992.

El Ganador del Cy Young por la Liga Nacional, indiscutiblemente fuè Clayton Kershaw, y El dìa de hoy se nombro al MVP de la Liga Nacional, cayendo este tìtulo en el Jardinero de Milwaukee Brewers, Ryan Braun, quien en votaciòn dejò en segundo plano a Matt Kemp, y a Prince Fielder en 3er. lugar, Braun, se convierte en el primer Brewer en lograr esta distinciòn desde Robin Yount en 1989.
En abril pasado, Braun de 28 años, firmó una renovación de contrato de cinco años y 105 millones de dólares, con lo que los Cerveceros lo tienen atado hasta 2020.
